STUDENT TESTIMONIALS

SHYLA ORQUIA, CLASS OF 2022

  • “ACOM isn't just a creative media program where you learn about cameras, editing, software, etc. Despite the content, the projects we do help to teach us how to be self-directed individuals who teach ourselves things outside of class. Personally, I've learned that if you aren't being taught what you're interested in, then it's your personal responsibility to venture out and see what you can learn yourself. Through this, I've been able to explore brand development in illustrator, web design, motion graphics in after effects, and 3-D modeling in Blender (just to name a few!). This program searches for students who are curious and have the drive to learn, and it's evident in the way that the teachers help students grow in their soft and technical skills. I wouldn't have ever developed the soft and technical skills that I currently have if it weren't for ACOM values, opportunities, and most importantly the teachers. “

FAITH CHRISTY SOLIVEN, CLASS OF 2022

  • I found friends and mentors who taught me the skills for creative media but to also become a better person. I am so grateful for being part of the ACOM family and I hope to give back to them in the future.”
